UP! ZOETERMEER

Team UP! designed a Superblock comprising two innovative high-rise mixed-use residential buildings, a big step in the upgrade of the city centre of Zoetermeer — “The Hague’s New Town.” In collaboration with Blauwhoed, VenhoevenCS, and Superlofts, Marc Koehler Associates contributes to shaping the next phase of Zoetermeer’s urban development.
The proposal, UP!, introduces two adaptive urban blocks with a lively public plinth and landmark towers, delivering 235 homes for a diverse range of residents. The project is designed with a strong emphasis on flexibility, community, and long-term adaptability.
At Markt 10, a dynamic environment is created where makers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and residents can seamlessly integrate living and working, supported by highly adaptable apartments that offer opportunities for personalisation and co-creation. At Frankrijklaan, the development addresses the demand for housing by providing homes tailored to young professionals.
Generous rooftop gardens, shared social spaces, and a strong commitment to sustainability foster a vibrant and inclusive urban neighbourhood where residents can connect, grow, and thrive.
