Co-living Awards 2024 winner!

We are very excited to share that Poppies has won the Co-living Awards 2024 in the Contech: Construction Technology category!

Poppies, developed by MamaPioneers, is entirely composed of prefabricated mass timber 42 m2 modules, produced by Derix. Prefabrication in mass timber can radically reduce both the building’s construction time and its carbon footprint.

Moreover, Poppies is net positive, meaning it generates more electricity than it consumes through solar and geothermal power. It is also carbon neutral, with a majority of its building materials being renewable, biobased, recycled, and reusable.
