Four projects shortlisted for WAF Awards
We are pleased to share that four of our projects are shortlisted for a prestigious WAF Award. The World Architecture Festival takes place in Lisbon from 30 November to 2 December this year. During this multi-day festival architects from all over the world share and discover the inside knowledge of the most outstanding international projects. WAF is the only architecture festival where all finalists present live to the jury and audience.
Robin Wood Amsterdam – Future Project Residential
Robin Wood is a sustainable and affordable wooden urban block in Amsterdam. A striking beacon that forms a playful, open connection between a lively city street and a pleasant residential neighbourhood. Robin Wood is designed together with ANA Architecten.
Jakoba Mulderhuis Amsterdam – Higher Education and Research
The Jakoba Mulderhuis of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences is all about inspiring cross-pollination of ideas in an open, creative environment. The open structure allows for a flexible layout on each floor in the building. With its ascending theater terraces, the atrium enables students to ‘hop’ from floor to floor, drawing inspiration from the projects that others are working on along the way. Jakoba Mulderhuis is designed together with Powerhouse Company and de Architekten Cie.
Koivistokade Amsterdam – Completed Buildings Office
Koivistokade proposes a future ready work environment that can be tailored and changed over time. Designed as a flexible Open Building, the Koivistokade office building can be easily adapted into housing with the evolving needs of the neighbourhood.
Superlofts Groningen – Completed Buildings Housing
Superlofts Groningen combines working and living space. The flexible Superlofts concept gave residents the freedom of choice for typology and to customize and adapt the apartment layout over time, empowering people to create their dream home.
